Slawomir Nalewajka holds an MSc degree in automation and electric metrology from the Moscow Institute of Engineering and Construction (1979-1984) and a postgraduate diploma in management from the Warsaw School of Economics. He began his career at the Central Design and Research Office for Rail Construction “Kolprojekt” in 1984. In 1993 – 2001 he worked at ABB and Daimler Chrysler as a designer, project manager and director. Since 2001 he has been connected with Bombardier Transportation. In 2003 he was appointed the President of the Board of Directors of Bombardier Transportation (ZWUS) Polska Sp. z o.o. At the same time, he is the the President of the Board of Directors of Bombardier Transportation (Rail Engineering) Polska Sp. z o.o.
